Work packages and Tasks

EMBRYO project is divided into five different Work Packages. The first Work Package is devoted to the development of the Arduino Manufacturing Kit that pupils will use to solve a challenge and produce a component out of aluminium sheets.

The second Work Package is dedicated to the lecturing of pupils in manufacturing processes and Arduino programming. For this, partners will develop digital lecturing nuggets and will teach the secondary schools staff in these topics. During the lectures, company visits will be organized to show the pupils real industrial scale machines used to manufacture selected demonstrators for the challenge and motivate them solve current industrial problems.

After this first two steps, the students will be ready to solve a challenge using the skills they were lectured on and the manufacturing kit developed by the EMBRYO partners. Thus, in Work Package three the students will solve a challenge to manufacture a product starting for raw materials. During the first year of the project the selected process is the sheet metal forming and the pupils will develop the process to bend a products out of aluminium sheets (for example a mobile stand).

Finally, the fourth Work Package is committed to the dissemination of the project results and the organization of the first international pupils forum where the students will present their project to all the students involved in the EMBRYO initiative.

The last Work Package is devoted to project management.
